Sutton teen dies in hunting accident, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office says

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A 17-year-old who was involved in a hunting accident in Hamilton County has died, according to the sheriff’s office.

The victim, 17-year-old Caleb Ladehoff of Sutton, died Tuesday at a Lincoln hospital.

Ladehoff had suffered a gunshot wound while hunting with friends last weekend, according to a press release on Facebook.

The Nebraska State Patrol and the sheriff’s office have begun an investigation into the incident.
