UPDATE: Lincoln Police estimate $50,000 in damage done to medical building
On Tuesday a SUV smashed through a big glass window near the entrance to Pioneer Heart Institute
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – UPDATE: Lincoln Police are estimating $50,000 of damage done to Pioneer Heart Institute after a woman drove into the building Tuesday morning.
According to the police, the driver was attempting to park when she possibly mistook the accelerator for the break.

For the second time this morning, Lincoln Police officers are investigating a serious crash.
This latest wreck near Van Dorn and south 70th Street took out a big window at Pioneer Heart Institute, just before 7 a.m.
We’re told a woman driving the SUV that plowed into the building hit the wrong pedal.
She was taken to the hospital but is expected to be okay.
Police are telling us there are no other reported injuries at this time.
Patients are being diverted to another entrance until this crash can be cleared up.
