Thanksgiving weekend forecast
Thanksgiving is looking pretty good. Sunny and cool. Friday looks OK, too. Just a few flurries. It’s Saturday I’m concerned about!
For Friday, we may see a few flurries during the game and it will be chilly. A good ole fashioned late November Husker football game!
For Saturday, rain is possible in SE Nebraska early, then it changes over to all snow. Below is what I have for the potential snowfall totals by Saturday night.
Below is what our StormCast weather model is showing for timing, location, and duration of the storm potential Saturday.
The wind will be an issue, as well. As the storm is churning along, the wind will pick up out of the north at 20 to 40 mph. That will cause a lot of travel headaches.
After Saturday, lingering light snow will be possible Sunday and then again on Monday. There’s another small snow chance Wednesday of next week.
