Three guns stolen from unlocked car in north Lincoln, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Three guns were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in north Lincoln on Saturday, police say.

Around 7 p.m., a 21-year-old man reported that he had parked his car outside of an apartment near First and Adams Streets to see a friend.

When he returned to his car about an hour later, one of the rear doors was slightly open, according to police.

Three guns – a Diamondback 9 mm, a Bereta 9 mm and a SCCY 9 mm – were all missing from the vehicle.

The victim told the officer that he thought his vehicle was locked.  Police say the vehicle didn’t have any damage.
