Three hospitalized after multiple shootings in Omaha

OMAHA, Neb. (KLKN) – Three people were sent to the hospital Tuesday evening after a series of shootings in Omaha.

Omaha police say the victims were found at three different scenes in Omaha within 45 minutes.

According to police, the first shooting happened near 42nd and Bedford Streets around 8 p.m.

A woman shot outside of the J-N-J grocery store was later taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Roughly 45 minutes later, police received reports of two other shootings.

Near 64th Street and Grand Avenue, one person with gunshot wounds was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Minutes later, police responded to a shooting roughly a mile away at the Kwik Shop on the corner of 72nd Street and Crown Point Avenue.

One person was taken to the hospital in serious condition, with injuries that were not life-threatening.
