Three-vehicle crash shuts down part of 27th Street in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two people were injured in a crash near 27th Street and Capitol Parkway on Friday.

The three-vehicle crash happened around 2:40 p.m. at 27th and F Streets.

A Lincoln Fire & Rescue battalion chief at the scene said two drivers were taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

No one had to be extricated from their vehicles, the battalion chief said.

The crash completely shut down the road from Randolph to E Streets. Lincoln Police said the road will remain closed as crews finish cleaning up the debris.

It is not yet known what caused the crash or the extent of the damage.
