Gretna Crash

Friends and family of four Gretna teens killed in a crash are set to gather Wednesday night to release balloons in remembrance of them.

Thursday marks one year since Alexandria Minardi, Addisyn Pfeifer, Kloe Odermatt, and Abigail Barth were killed when their vehicle left the roadway, struck a guardrail and ended up in a ravine just west of the intersection of 180th and Platteview Road in Sarpy  County.

The lone survivor, Roan Brandon, was released from a Lincoln hospital several weeks later.

Sarpy County officials said speed and alcohol were factors in the crash. Despite dozens of tips, search warrants and hundreds of hours of investigations, no one has been declared responsible for providing the girls – who were all underage – with alcohol.

Investigators continue to work the case and ask for anyone with information to come forward.
