LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Former Nebraska head coach Tom Osborne has been indicted into the Nebraska Hall of Fame.
Osborne was the first person to be alive while being inducted into the Nebraska Hall of Fame.
On Sept. 18, a bust of Osborne was unveiled at the ceremony inducting him.
Gov. Jim Pillen joined Osborne in the unveiling.
“There is nobody in the history of the State of Nebraska who has done more for young people in his entire life, who also just happens to be one of the greatest football coaches of all time,” Pillen said. “He taught us extraordinary things that have served us our entire lives.”
