LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Tom Osborne will be addressing Nebraska graduates this May.

The former University of Nebraska – Lincoln (UNL) football coach will be back on campus to deliver the keynote address, “Begin with the End in Mind,” at 10 am and 4 pm for the undergraduate commencement ceremonies.

According to UNL, more than 3,500 degrees will be handed out between May 7 and 8. The ceremonies will take place at Memorial Stadium, One Memorial Stadium Dr.

This will be the first time since December 2019 that the university has held a full-fledged graduation ceremony, in-person.

UNL is partnering with the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department for the event to minimize the risk of COVID-19 spread.

Graduates must be signed up in order to attend commencement. Your vaccination status is not a factor, however all attendees must have a negative COVID test one to three days prior to the ceremony. For more information, visit go.unl.edu/74e6.

Tickets will be required for all guests. Each student can request up to eight guests.

A clear bag policy does still apply at Memorial Stadium.

The ceremonies will be streamed on commencement.unl.edu and broadcast live on Spectrum channel 1303, Allo channel 23, and Kinetic channel 1080.
