Trump establishes ‘Office of the Former President’
The same day the House delivered an article of impeachment, Trump opened a new office

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Former President Donald Trump opened an “Office of the Former President” on Monday according to a statement from the office.
In the statement, it says, “The Office will be responsible for managing President Trump’s correspondence, public statements, appearances, and official activities to advance the interests of the United States and to carry on the agenda of the Trump Administration through advocacy, organizing, and public activism.”

This announcement comes on the same day the House Democrats delivered an article of impeachment to the Senate to begin the second impeachment trial of Trump.
