Tuesday Evening Weather Update; November 3, 2020

TONIGHT:  Increasing clouds overnight.  Skies turning mostly cloudy by sunrise.  Temperatures will drop to the lower 40°s.  Lincoln Low Temperature: 43°

WEDNESDAY:  Mostly cloudy skies in the morning, becoming partly cloudy by afternoon.  Highs temperatures will return to the upper 70°s to near 80°.  Lincoln High Temperature: 77°

THURSDAY:  Sunny skies and above normal temperatures continue.  Highs will be in the middle 70°s.  Lincoln High Temperature: 75°

RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURES

Record high temperatures were set today in Lincoln, Grand Island, and Hastings.  The previous record was 79° for all three cities.  Grand Island topped out at 85°.  Lincoln reached 83°.  Hastings hit 81°.

Not only was it warm today in Lincoln but it was the third warmest temperature ever recorded in November, falling 2° shy of tying the record high temperature for the month (85°).
