Two arrested after stealing teen’s wheelchair, Lincoln Police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two were arrested Sunday after officers found them with meth and a teen’s stolen wheelchair, Lincoln Police say.

Around 12:45 p.m., a man told police that somebody had stolen his 16-year-old son’s wheelchair from their driveway in the Capitol Beach neighborhood.

His son’s backpack, which had two debit cards in it, was also stolen.

Officers took Reynaldo Gonzalez Jr., 40, and Latisha Castillo, 35, into custody, police say.

Officers then searched the vehicle and found the wheelchair and other stolen items.  They also found 14.9 grams of meth, according to police.
