Two in critical condition after Seacrest Field shooting, Lincoln Police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two people are in critical condition after a shooting in the parking lot of Seacrest Field early Sunday morning, Lincoln Police say.

Around 2:30 a.m. officers responded to reports of a shooting in the parking lot.

When officers arrived they found a 19-year-old man who had been shot, police say.

Officers later found the second victim, a 24-year-old woman, near 70th and O Streets after she left the scene in a vehicle, police say.

Both victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, police say.

Lincoln police have not identified any suspects at this time and have not said if there is currently a threat to the public.
