Two more COVID deaths for Lancaster County

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Tuesday, Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) announced two more deaths from COVID-19. This brings the number of community deaths to 219.

The individuals have been identified as a woman in her 50s who was hospitalized and a man in his 70s in a long-term care facility.

Forty new COVID-19 cases were also announced, bringing the community total to 27,932.

Nearly 13,000 people have recovered from the virus, with more than 71,000 vaccines administered.

Thirty-five COVID patients are currently hospitalized (25 are Lancaster County residents).
