Two more COVID deaths reported in Lancaster County
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Tuesday, the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department (LLCHD) reported two more Lancaster County residents have died from COVID-19.
The individuals were a man and woman, both were hospitalized and in their 70’s.
The deaths bring the community total to 63.
An additional 177 coronavirus cases were also reported, bringing the total to 13,254.
Recoveries increased by 37, from 4,711 to 4,748.
The overall positivity rate increased to 11.4% and the daily positivity rate remains almost three times as high at 30.7%.
A total of 143 people were hospitalized with the virus (49 from Lancaster County). A total of 16 patients are on ventalitors.
Symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, cough, shortness of breath, repeated shaking with chills, repeated muscle pain, headache, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell.
