Two NW Lincoln construction sites burglarized over the weekend

Lincoln Police are investigating burglaries at two construction sites.

Both sites are located in Northwest Lincoln, and both crimes were reported by employees Monday morning, but police don’t yet know if they’re related. 

The first was reported around 8:00 a.m. Monday at a site near NW 12th and NW Highland Blvd. An employee reported an enclosed trailer with tools inside was missing. The trailer and tools were worth $7,000. 

The trailer is white, and the brand is H & H Enclosed Trailer. 

The second was reported at 10:30 a.m. Monday at a site near Discovery Drive and NW Highland Blvd. An employee said ladders, chains and plywood were taken. A palette of stone veneer was damaged, and 20 used tires were illegally dumped on the site. The loss in this case is $700, the damage adds up to $1,500.
