Two pickups involved in rollover collision, three taken to hospital

LITTLE SALT, Neb. (KLKN) — Just after 3 p.m. Thursday, authorities were called to the area of 14th and Davey Road, just north of Lincoln, and a rollover collision.

We had a reporter on scene who observed Ceresco police, Raymond police, Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office (LSO), and Lincoln Fire and Rescue (LFR) had responded to the area. Two vehicles were found crumpled on the side of the road, with one rolled over.

LSO stated a 41-year-old man and 33-year-old woman, both from Oklahoma, were driving a pickup east on Davey Road when they violated a stop sign. Their car was then struck by another pickup, driven by a  53-year-old man from Ceresco, heading northbound on 14th street. All three individuals were transported to the hospital by ambulance to Bryan West. Starcare was called but later canceled.

Sherriff Wagner said the crash initially looked very serious, but the injuries were likely non-life-threatening.
