Two Tecumseh state prison staffers tested positive for COVID-19

More Nebraska prison employees have tested positive for COVID-19, according to prison officials.

In a news release late Sunday night, the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services said two staff members employed at the Tecumseh state prison recently tested positive for the new coronavirus. Both staffers are self-isolating at home.

This brings the total to 14 employees across the state’s 10 prison facilities who have tested positive for the virus.
