Two teens cited, two arrested after Instagram post threatened Omaha schools

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Two Omaha teens were arrested Thursday after police say they made threatening statements online.
The Omaha Police Department said it arrested 19-year-old Edwin Genchi-Carmona and a 17-year-old girl on suspicion of terroristic threats.
On Wednesday, the department said it was made aware of a threat regarding Omaha schools made on Instagram.
The post referenced the date “January 25.” An investigation revealed that the threat was not credible.
An 11-year-old and a 12-year-old were also cited on suspicion of disorderly conduct.
Posting school threats online is not funny, & not a joke. Law enforcement can figure out who you are and will come visit you. #thinkbeforeyoupost #OPD @OmahaPubSchool @MillardPS @OmahaWestside @ElkhornPS @RalstonSchools via @OPDLtOtt pic.twitter.com/MEd8GQiRQD
