University Place in Lincoln gets a little brighter

The murals are expected to bring more people to the area

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Murals are being painted to revitalize the University Place area of Lincoln.

Artists from other states, countries and locally came to Lincoln to paint the murals.

This weekend events will be held including a car show with food and music at the Lux Center. All of the art galleries along 48th St. will be open during the events.

They hope these murals will bring people to the area and help businesses as well as just making the area colorful and brighter.
