UNL asking for help in identifying insect distribution

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources needs your help in identifying insects across Nebraska.

It will help them get a better understanding on the distribution of several insects in the state.

They include the Green June Beetle, The Japanese Beetle, and the Brown Marmorated Stink Bug.

If you have any of these insects on your property, take a picture and send it in to inaturalist.org with information on where the picture was taken.

Just make sure it’s clear.

They also have an insect identification guide, if you’re unsure how to identify the specific bug.
