Over 110 families will need to move by June 30th.

UNL Vice Chancellor Josh Overocker said the decision is in the student’s best interest.

“Overall, in looking at how do we manage the number of facilities in a way that provides the best living environment that we can, and that ultimately that’s been the guiding factor for where we are,” said Overocker.

A meeting planned for later this week will provide more insight into whether or not there will be additional time for relocation.
