LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The University of Nebraska-Lincoln will be giving each student two face coverings when they return to campus this fall, in order to stop the spread of COVID-19. The masks are red and black, labeled with the big ‘N’ on the side. All UNL facility and staff will be given these masks as well. Face masks will be required in all parts of campus and even outside when proper social distancing can’t happen.

The Director of the Nebraska Union, Ryan Lahne, says they are hopeful the school can return back to the classroom safely.

Just several weeks ago, UNL has received about 60,000 masks from their distributor.

These masks will be given to students when they check in or through different distribution centers on campus starting August 10th.
