UNL students sell artwork in end-of-semester market

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — With finals week beginning soon for many University of Nebraska-Lincoln students, those in the art program decided to use the weekend to take a break and sell some of their works.

Those studying ceramics and members of UNL’s Clay Club held a two-day sale in Richard Hall allowing the community to view their works.

Visitors stopping by could walk around the classrooms and find pieces of art that caught their eye.

Any curious buyers then had the chance to purchase the piece with all the funds would going directly to the creator.

Graduate student Casey Beck said all students’ work deserved to be available for sale at the event.

“We really support everyone and their vision as an artist,” Beck said. “Anything that people have made out of clay is worthy to be sold here.”

If you missed this sale there will be another opportunity to buy at the end of the 2023 Spring semester.
