UNL undergoing multiple major projects as students return to campus
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Multiple projects have been announced by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL) that new students moving in this week can expect.
More than a dozen projects are finished, currently underway or scheduled to be done by the end of the year.
“Because of big projects wrapping up, it will be a lot less construction people see on campus than what they’ve seen the last couple of years,” said Wendy Johnson, assistant vice president for facilities planning and capital programs.
These projects include the Westbrook Music Building, Pershing Military and Naval Science Building, Mueller Tower, Andersen Hall, rodeo arena, sidewalks and concrete work, Nebraska Union, Bob Devaney Sports Center, Lied Center for Performing Arts, Memorial Stadium, Morrill Hall and Bowlin Stadium.
The projects consist of new buildings, lockers, floors, seating, renovations and much more.
