Upcoming TADA Theater show will support Food Bank of Lincoln
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The TADA Theatre is preparing to celebrate the holiday season with a special event next month that will benefit the Food Bank of Lincoln.
“We’ve got a really fun holiday Christmas cabaret,” said Cris Rook, TADA’s associate and musical director. “It’s called ‘A Very Merry Christmas Cabaret.’ ”
The event kicks off on Friday, Dec. 9, and will run through Sunday, Dec. 18.
The actors will perform some family-friendly Christmas classics.
Tickets are $10, but those who bring a donation to the food bank will receive half off their ticket price.
“We’re hoping to get folks in for a real reasonable price, but also raising a lot of items to support the food bank, something we like to do for almost every Christmas,” Rook said.
She said this will be a popular production, so she recommends reserving your tickets online.
TADA Theatre, located above Ivanna Cone in the Haymarket, is pairing with The Mill to bring wine to these performances.
