Authorities have arrested a man in connection to a fatal stabbing in Lincoln.

Authorities have arrested a man in connection to a fatal stabbing in Lincoln.
Lincoln police arrested 27-year-old Roy Wyrick for second-degree murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
The stabbing occurred around 8:30 p.m. Monday in the area of 14th and D St.
Upon arrival, officers found 37-year-old Jeremy Lane suffering from a stab wound.
CPR and and AED device were utilized to save Lane, who was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after, Police Chief Jeff Bliemeister said.
Bliemeister said Lane was involved in a fight with Wyrick which spanned several minutes before the stabbing occurred.
The investigation is ongoing and police are asking anyone with information to call 402-441-6000.
