According to the police scanner, LPD is responding to a shooting near 14th and Superior.

Although Police have not confirmed any details about this situation we heard that two people may have been shot in a domestic situation.

We’re hearing one person may have been shot in the head and one person may have been shot in the torso.

Our reporter on scene says police have taped off an area inside the Superior Place Apartments.

Police say, over the scanner, that they have secured a gun- and may know who the suspect is.

Lincoln Police are requesting medical units, and scanner traffic indicates one person may have been taken to the hospital.

Traffic in the area is being diverted. If you can, avoid the area.

Our reporter on scene says he can see a vehicle with a white sheet draped over the widows- which appear to be shot out.

Once again, we have no official confirmation in this situation- we are working with authorities on scene.

Stay with us for more information as it becomes available.
