UPDATE: Police release name of woman killed in crash at 40th and Highway 2
Officials say no citations or arrests have been made at this time.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Authorities say 66-year-old Asuncion Ramos died after an accident at the intersection of 40th and Highway 2 Thursday morning.
The other driver, a 40-year-old man, remains in the hospital.
Police say a grey Honda Accord was driving northbound on South 40th Street and collided with a red Jeep Liberty heading eastbound on Highway 2. Witnesses reported seeing the Jeep Liberty demonstrating erratic driving behavior prior to the collision.
Officials say no citations or arrests have been made at this time and this is an ongoing investigation.
