Updated Forecast – Sunday, April 25
Windy days continue along with a taste of summertime heat!
Skies will stay mostly clear overnight with these strong south-southeasterly winds relaxing only slightly, gusting up to 25mph (as compared to 40mph seen this afternoon). Temperatures will stay mild and dip into the upper 50s.
Our work week starts off with a blast of heat as temperatures rise to 90° on Monday! This will be another blustery one as winds from the south-southwest could gust up to 35mph throughout the day. A RED FLAG WARNING is in effect for Monday as these strong winds, combined with low relative humidity levels and hot temperatures will create high fire danger. The public is encouraged to avoid setting any burns on Monday.
Tuesday’s temperatures drop back down into the upper 70s, with a small chance of thunderstorms developing throughout the night.
