USDA launches summer food program for kids

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The USDA has launched the Summer Food Service Program to tackle food insecurity across the nation.

Schools, local government agencies, camps and faith-based and other nonprofit community organizations pair with the Department of Agriculture to provide breakfast and lunch to children 18 and under.
