Vaping up in young adults and students

Vaping is often linked to teenagers, but a new report published in the Jama Internal Medicine journal says more young adults are using e-cigarettes.

Researchers at John Hopkins say about 11 million adults used e-cigarettes in 2016. That number jumped to nearly 14 million only two years later. According to the report, more people are vaping on a daily basis, suggesting more users are becoming dependent on e-cigarettes rather than merely experimenting with them.

Researchers also cited previous studies on e-cigarette marketing efforts to explain the jump.
