LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN)- Bryan Health received vaccines on Friday to start vaccinating students at the Bryan College of Health Sciences.

The students eligible for vaccination are those who have clinical rotations requiring them to go on the patient floors of the hospital.

They’re expecting to vaccinate around 150 students on Friday and about 500 overall. There will be two more clinics offered next week and second doses will be given in mid-to-late February.

The college’s Dean of Students Alethea Stovall talked about how exciting the day was for students.
