Hit & Run

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Lincoln woman is recovering from a multitude of injuries after being thrown into the air during an apparent hit-and-run.

Video obtained by Channel 8 shows several people setting off fireworks in a street when a car comes driving through, striking the woman and sending her airborne. We are hoping that by showing this video someone might recognize the vehicle and call Lincoln Police. They tell us they do not have a good description of the vehicle at this time.

The woman’s mother tells Channel 8 her daughter suffered a broken clavicle bone, a concussion and is “bruised from top to bottom.”

Lincoln police responded to the home near NW 4th and W. Dawes around 11 p.m. Saturday.
