Warm and breezy end to the work week 11/5/2021

We are off to a chilly and cloudy start across southeast Nebraska this morning with some patchy fog. Clouds will gradually clear as we head into the afternoon, leading to widespread sunshine during the evening. Highs will warm well above normal today into the low to mid-60s with breezy wind gusts up to 30 mph for some. Temperatures drop into the upper 30s overnight with the chance for widespread fog development across southeast NE as we start off your Saturday. Highs warm even more for your Saturday as highs reach the low 70s with sunny skies. Warm conditions like this continue into your Sunday before we cool back into the 60s come Monday. A cooling trend sets up next week as a new weather pattern arrives in the Midwest. This will bring temperatures back into the 40s and 50s late next week with the chance for a wintry mix.
