Warm and windy Monday 12/21/2020

Afternoon high temperatures will soar into the low 50s today with widespread sunshine and breezy conditions. Wind speeds could easily gust up to 30 mph at times, and they will only increase the next few days. Tomorrow they will help warm our temperatures once last time to the mid–50s as they will turn to the south. But come Wednesday, wind gusts up to 45 mph could cause holiday travel problems. A wintry mix is currently in the forecast for Wednesday, and while we might not get a lot of snow, the highs wind speeds and wintry mix together could reduce visibility. Christmas day looks dry and mild with highs in the low 40s.
