Warm and windy Wednesday
Wednesday is going to be very mild and very windy. Don’t get used to the heat, though. Temperatures come crashing down on Thursday! Highs will struggle through the weekend before eventually warming up next week. Precipitation chances are out there for Thursday.
Temperatures on Wednesday are going to be 10 to 15 degrees above average. We may even see a few 70s in central and western Nebraska!
Lincoln will start off with temperatures in the 30s, then quickly warm into the 60s by mid afternoon.
One of the reasons it’s going to be so warm…the wind. We’ll see a gusty south wind at 15 to 30 mph, gusting up into the 40+ mph range.
Then we look towards Thursday. A rain snow mix is likely in southeast Nebraska.
The best chance for over an inch of snow will be in NE Nebraska, but central and SE Nebraska has a chance, as well.
Over 4″ of snow is unlikely for most of us, but NE Nebraska does have a better chance than the rest of us.
