Warm & Pleasant Through Tuesday
A warm, sunny & pleasant day, with spotty light rain from 10pm-3am. High temperatures statewide only reaching the 80s under mostly sunny skies. West winds will be relatively light across eastern, NE with the stronger winds out west.
High temperatures across Nebraska will only reach the lower 80s! A nice and below average day for most of us.
West winds will pick up Monday afternoon. Wind gusts up to 20-35 mph, with the strongest winds across the sandhills.
10pm-3am: Spotty light rain showers & a few rumbles of thunder will occur ahead of our next cold front! Rain accumulations will be minimal.
Wednesday will be a HOT & WINDY day! Temperatures reaching the low to upper 90s with strong NW winds. Sustained winds will be near 20-25 mph with gusts up to 45-55 mph.
This weekend: A relatively dry week ahead across Nebraska. By Father’s Day weekend, our next system could bring storms W->E. Severe weather could occur, with the main concerns being DAMAGING WINDS, HAIL, brief tornado chance & localized flooding. Stay tuned for the latest as we get closer to time!
A dry & summer like week ahead! Monday & Tuesday look very pleasant. Wednesday turns windy & hot. Friday night, a chance for late rain/storms. Our next best rain/storm chance comes this weekend with severe weather a possibility.
