Warm & Windy Memorial Day forecast; strong PM storms 5/30/2022

Sunshine with a mix of clouds will dominate the sky for a majority of your Memorial day but we could could see some thunderstorms. Most of the afternoon is looking dry, but there is a small chance for a few pop up thunderstorms. Temperatures will quickly climb to the mid to upper 80s with a few 90s as highs. These temperatures are perfect for pool weather, but beware of the strong wind gusts. Gusts above 40 mph are likely all day long, with a Wind Advisory in effect from 12-8 PM. Another round of strong thunderstorms is likely later this evening, but the timing isn’t set yet. As of now, it appears thunderstorms will fire up after 5 PM with strong wind gusts, large hail and isolated tornadoes possible. Please continue to check back all day long for updates on the timeline as it will likely shift around. Temperatures also continue to fall the next several days with below average highs in the 60s and 70s.
