Warm weather continues into the weekend
Warm October temperatures will continue through the week and into the weekend. Cooler air starts to move back in by Sunday as a cold front moves across the state, bring some rain chances.
Highs on Thursday will be well above average. Mid to upper 70s are expected, but a few 80s are possible.
The next chance for rain start to move in on Saturday, but will stall out and stay in central and western Nebraska through the weekend. Above is what 10pm Saturday may look like.
By Sunday afternoon, the rain continues for the western half of the state. This is where the drought is most pronounced, so they need it!
By Sunday night, the rain starts to spread east. This will drag down the colder air bringing a chance for snow in far NW Nebraska.
By Monday, most of Nebraska is looking at a chance for rain. Some snow is possible in NW Nebraska, as well.
