Warm weather continues, wind picks up by Friday

The next several days will be well above our average high for early October. The wind is going to pick up, as well.

Thursday will see highs mainly in the upper 70s and low 80s. The wind won’t be an issue, though.

It won’t be humid out, either. Lots of 40s and 50s for dew points.

The wind really starts to pick up on Friday. By Friday night, we’ll see wind gusts in excess of 40 mph.

The wind will continue through much of the day on Saturday, especially for the eastern half of the state.
