Here we go again! Eastern Nebraska is off to anther cold start this morning with temperatures in the single digits and subzero wind chill values. Wind chill values could be as low as -15 degrees this morning, so make sure to bundle up the kids before sending them to school and warm up your cars. While we are off to a frigid start this morning, temperatures will actually rebound this afternoon!

Center Today Temperature 7am To 5pm

High temperatures return to the upper 30s and low 40s thanks to sunny skies and southerly winds. Wind gusts could gust up to 30 mph or higher this afternoon with clear skies expected the entire day.

Overnight temperatures will also be a bit on the mild side, with lows in the low 20s.

Daily high temperatures continue to warm as we head into the weekend and highs on Saturday could reach the mid-50s. This warm spell will likely be followed by a cold pattern change next Tuesday and beyond. This pattern change could also result in some winter precipitation!
