Warmest weather of the year arrives this weekend

Most of the region will start off the night with mostly clear skies and the chance for fog in any low lying areas. Clouds will build into the early morning hours and some spots might have a few spotty showers to start of Friday. Even though we will have partly cloudy skies tomorrow, conditions will still be hot with highs in the lower 90s and heat index values in the triple digits. The warmest heat of the summer will stick around for the weekend with actual air temperatures being close to 100 degrees by Saturday evening. Make sure to limit your time outdoors and stay hydrated the next few days. Several rain chances arrive next week which will help cool us down a bit and provide much needed rain across the state.
