Warming up with more storm chances
There are quite a few chances for strong to severe storms through the rest of the week and into the weekend. We warm up, too!
There is a level 1 “Marginal Risk” for severe weather Friday afternoon and evening in eastern Nebraska into Iowa and Missouri. That fades out by sunset, then another wave moves into north central Nebraska overnight.
Above is what our StormCast weather model is saying for timing, duration, and location of the storm chances Friday into Saturday.
Saturday will have the better chance for severe weather for more of the state. Storms will still be isolated in nature, so not everyone will see storms, but the green shaded “Marginal Risk” area has the best chance for strong storms.
Above is what our StormCast weather model is saying for timing, duration, and location of the storm chances Saturday into Sunday.
Highs on Friday will still be below average, but not by much.
We get back into the 90s and 100s on Saturday!
