Washington County identifies another case of COVID-19 related to an assisted living facility

Another case of COVID-19 has been identified in Washington County, making it their ninth case. The person is identified as a female in her 90’s, who is self-isolating at home.

Her case is related to the Carter House outbreak, an assisted living facility in Blair, making it the County’s fourth case connected with the location. Sunday, all Carter House residents and staff were tested for COVID-19 and the result are expected within the next 48 hours.

Three Rivers Health Department and Carter House staff decided to temporarily move residents out of the facility. While the Carter House is empty, there will be a complete deep cleaning to disinfect it.
