WATCH: Bandits drive off with cart full of groceries at Lincoln Hy-Vee

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Two thieves fled quickly from a Lincoln grocery store, so quickly in fact, that they didn’t even bag their groceries.

The theft happened at the Hy-Vee near 84th and Holdrege Streets on July 28, according to police.

In the video, two men are seen dumping a whole cart full of groceries into an older Dodge pickup truck.

Lincoln Police are still trying to identify the people in the video.

Police are also investigating another crime at a local grocery store, but this time, a credit card was stolen.

On Nov. 20, surveillance footage at the Super Saver near 56th Street and Nebraska Parkway showed a suspect distracting a shopper while an accomplice moves in and unzips the woman’s purse.

The suspects then used the card at Sam’s Club near 84th Street and Nebraska Parkway, spending almost $4,000, according to police.

Another fraudulent charge of $3,100 was also discovered by investigators, police say.

Anyone with information on either case can call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
