PHOTOS: Severe storms hit southeast Nebraska
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Multiple severe thunderstorm warnings were in effect in Nebraska on Tuesday evening.
One cluster of storms with 60 mph winds moved through the Lincoln area around 7:30 p.m.
Lincoln, Seward and Milford are under a flash flood warning until 10:30 p.m.
A viewer reported 1.6 inches of rain near 14th and Superior streets, and a Channel 8 producer said her kitchen started to flood.
At one point, the Lincoln Electric System reported 1,900 power outages.
But by 10 p.m., that number was down to 249.
Eagle Raceway posted pictures on Facebook of its bleachers strewn about.
