WATCH: Neighborhood thief spotted breaking into vehicle, Lincoln Police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are searching for the man who they think is connected to several thefts in a Lincoln neighborhood.
In security video, the man was spotted entering multiple vehicles near 19th and Lake Streets on April 27.
Police say one of the victims went to his car in the morning and noticed it was gone.
When officers recovered the car, a laptop – which had been taken from another vehicle in the neighborhood – was found inside, according to police.
All victims were from the same neighborhood, police say.
Police are also looking for the man who threw a bar stool into a convenience store near 11th and B Streets on May 3.
The man, who police say is a regular at the store, had his card denied.
He became upset and was asked to leave, according to police.
The man complied but then threw the stool into the store, police said.
