WATCH: Thief snatches $1,000 worth of adult toys from Lincoln store

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Police are having a hard time searching for a man who stole several adult toys from a local store.

The theft happened just before 7 a.m. on Oct. 30 at the Adam and Eve store near 43rd and O Streets, according to Lincoln Police.

Police said the thief, who is seen in dark clothing in security footage, went inside after smashing the glass door and stole about $1,000 worth of adult toys.

The door had around $500 in damage, police estimate.

Lincoln Police are also searching for thieves who took a blue Power Horse 7,000-watt generator near 20th and Y Streets.

An older Nissan Altima with a shattered windshield, white objects on the doors and a fake license plate is seen leaving with the generator in the security video.

The generator was too big to fit in the truck, so it was left hanging out, according to police.  It eventually fell from the trunk, and a thief had to come put it back into the trunk.

The two men are then seen driving off with a long sheet of fabric trailing behind the vehicle, police say.

Anyone with information on either case is asked to call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
