Water main project continues near Cornhusker Hwy

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The area of Cornhusker Hwy, between N 14th and N 27th Streets is currently undergoing a water main project.

The project includes replacing 2,400 feet of water main piping to provide clean and safe drinking water to Lincoln residents.

The right-side westbound lane of Cornhusker Hwy remains closed for the project, which is anticipated to be done in late January.

So far, 1,750 feet of pipe has been replaced, an additional 625 feet expected to be laid in late December.
